Men (Holy Trinity and Trendlewood Men's Ministry) - HTT

Welcome

There are plenty of activities to get involved with and all of them are open to all. The best way to keep in touch with what’s going on is to be on our mailing list, with the email contact being: httmen226@gmail.com. You can sign up for this using the following link: http://eepurl.com/got2z9. Do get in touch if there is anything you’d like to know, or if there is something else you think we should be doing. Some of our regular events.

The Big Breakfast

On the first Saturday of alternate months (Mar, May, July, Sept and Nov) we meet at The Old Farmhouse pub on Trendlewood Way at 8am for a full English breakfast and to listen to a guest speaker. Great value breakfast, always an interesting and challenging talk and good company. Contact Trevor (trevor.dean@blueyonder.co.uk) to find out details of the next breakfast.

Bike to Breakfast

Every 2nd Sunday of the month and open to anyone who enjoys cycling, whether a church member or not.  there are usually three groups: Ezee Riders, Intermediates and Speedy Riders, starting in different places and at different times (between 8am and 9am) and riding different distances.  We come together for a hearty breakfast, and a ‘thought for the day’, before returning home well before lunch.  An early start but well worth it! Contact Trevor (trevor.dean@blueyonder.co.uk) for more information.

Walk to the Pub

A group from both within and outside of the church who meet on the third Wednesday of each month to walk and enjoy lunch together.  We share transport to a starting point and then have a circular walk, stopping on the way round for a pub lunch. Routes vary in length (usually 7 or 8 miles maximum) and difficulty, but the social aspects are always a priority. Contact David (heathcote.david@sky.com) for more information.

Golf Roll Up

Golfers of all abilities are most welcome to join in a round at Clevedon Golf Centre at 9am on a Saturday morning every other month in the even number months.  Details from Ricky (rickwilkinson@gmail.com).

Nailsea Mountain Rescue

The Nailsea Mountain Rescue Team meet up at a pub in one of the surrounding villages to Nailsea at 8pm, once a month.  After conversation and planning over a beer or two we depart for home around 10pm using the local footpaths to walk back through the countryside to Nailsea. Walks are usually 1 to 1.5 hours. Walking boots are recommended as some of the paths can be very muddy.  Social members of the rescue team can arrange for transport to take them straight home from the pub.  The annual dinner is held on the last Friday in January when partners are invited to attend.  Click to contact Ricky (rickwilkinson22@gmail.com) for information on the next meeting and for more information on the Annual Dinner.

Trendlewood Men’s Breakfast

First Saturday, alternate months at Coates House at 9am.  More information from Edward (edward.sheffield@btinternet.com).

Early Morning Men’s Prayer

Various other activities are arranged on an ad hoc basis, including visits to places such as Hinkley Point C, local brewery tours and air shows.
We hope to see you soon.
