For centuries, important life events have been marked by a service in the local church at the heart of the community.

Dedications & Baptisms

Children are always welcome at church. We want little ones to grow up knowing they are loved by Jesus and have him as their friend. A dedication is a way for any family to bring their child for a special blessing as part of a church service. A baptism (sometimes referred to as a christening) is a stage further on – a moment in a church service when firstly the parents commit to following Jesus themselves and promise to bring up their child in the Christian faith, and then the child is baptised.

We also welcome baptisms for adults who want to declare their faith in Jesus.
