For centuries, important life events have been marked by a service in the local church at the heart of the community.

Baptisms

New babies are welcomed into the family of the church by baptism, and this is also a naming ceremony and a pledge of good parenting.

Godparents are appointed who will support the parents through those vital early years. Baptism can also be for adults who have missed out on a childhood commitment to faith and want to celebrate new life in Jesus.
