Stephen & Diki lead a Christian ministry of love, restoration & transformation in a very poor, dangerous and dysfunctional part of NE India. Together they have followed the call of God on their lives to live and work in Diki’s home town of Churachandpur (CCpur), Manipur, on the border with Burma. Currently they have felt led to live for a while in the UK, looking at using their experience in this country, while keeping in constant contact with the ARK Centre in CCpur.
With the support of the Word for Life Trust in the UK, the team at the Living Word Centre (LWC) in CCpur continues to reach out to the lost, broken and rejected – the homeless, drug and alcohol addicted, prostitutes, mentally ill and HIV+, etc. Offering God’s love in action, they are sharing the Gospel daily, openly and unashamedly in a relevant & practical way. “Soup, Soap, Salvation!”
The ARK @ the LWC offers residential rehabilitation and daily discipleship, prayer, worship and Christian fellowship to those seeking to grow in their relationship with Christ and be free from drugs. It is free of charge and open to all without prejudice to tribe, denomination, ethnic or social background.
